Special Issue: The Economics of Housing Under Pressure

To extend discussions arising from the 2027 AHRC–APNHR conference, Australian Economic Papers is inviting submissions to a special issue on The Economics of Housing Under Pressure.

The special issue aligns with the conference theme, “Housing in a time of crises: ensuring inclusion, sustainability and productivity,” and welcomes research examining the economic and policy dimensions of housing affordability, supply, finance, inequality, demographic change, sustainability and housing security.

Papers presented at the conference are particularly encouraged, although submissions are open to all authors and will undergo the journal’s standard peer-review process.

Submission deadline: 31 March 2027.
